From PEDA Plant, Ludhiana

Dhartiras – from PEDA Ludhiana to your fields: purified, fermented, farmer-ready organic nutrition.

At the heart of our operation lies the state-of-the-art facility at the Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) Plant in Ludhiana — where the journey of transformation begins. Fresh cow dung, a renewable and abundant resource, is processed through a meticulously controlled anaerobic digestion system. First, methane and other biogases are extracted in a clean, energy-efficient cycle. What remains is a nutrient-rich digestate, thoroughly stabilised and refined. From this we craft two premium inputs: a liquid fermented organic manure (LFOM) ideal for rapid uptake, and a solid fermented organic manure (FOM) tailored for long-term soil building. The final result is not just a fertiliser—it’s a farmer-ready solution: consistent in quality, safe in composition, and engineered for visible improvement in both soil health and crop performance.

We are more than a brand. We are a promise: sustainable crops, flourishing soils and empowered growers — one field at a time.

01 • Source & Sustain

Stage 1 – Source & Sustain

We begin by sourcing 100 % cow-dung from trusted, controlled supplies. At the Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) Plant in Ludhiana, strict quality-controls ensure uniform raw materials. Sustainability is built in: minimised waste, ethical sourcing, and full traceability.

02 • Transform & Refine

Stage 2 – Transform & Refine

The raw material undergoes advanced anaerobic digestion—methane and gases are extracted, and the remaining digestate is purified. From this refined base we create two premium formats: liquid fermented organic manure (LFOM) for rapid plant uptake, and solid fermented organic manure (FOM) for deep-soil improvement. Each batch is tested for consistency, microbial safety and nutrient stability.

03 • Enable & Empower

Stage 3 – Enable & Empower

The finished products are distributed to farmers, agribusinesses and trade partners. With Dhartiras, stakeholders enjoy a genuine partnership: healthier soils, reduced chemical dependency and measurable crop responses. Our mission is delivered on the ground—empowering growers, enriching land and making a lasting impact for future generations.

Process (for Buyers / Govt. / Retailers)

Authentic production flow at PEDA, Ludhiana — from cow dung intake to Dhartiras LFOM & FOM.

01 Cow Dung Intake

Fresh cow dung (200–250 MT/day) arrives at PEDA Plant and is unloaded into receiving pits.

02 Slurry Preparation

Cow dung is diluted with water and homogenised for smooth pumping and even digester loading.

03 Anaerobic Digestion

Slurry enters digesters (primary + secondary) where microbes convert organic matter into biogas.

04 Biogas → CBG

Produced biogas is purified — methane upgraded to CBG. Residual digestate is discharged.

05 Solid–Liquid Separation

The digestate is passed through separators — liquid (LFOM stream) and solid (FOM stream) are split.

06 Stabilisation & Conditioning

Both streams undergo biological conditioning to reduce volatility and stabilise nutrients.

Liquid stream → LFOM

The liquid digestate is filtered, micron-polished and stabilised to create a fast-acting, microbe-rich liquid fermented organic manure.

  • Ideal for horticulture, vegetables & nurseries
  • Applicable via drip, fertigation & foliar
  • Quick visible impact on weak/stressed soils

Solid stream → FOM (Solid)

Solid digestate is dried, cured and carbon-stabilised to produce a long-lasting soil conditioner rich in organic carbon.

  • 80–120 kg/acre broadcasting
  • Enhances organic carbon over crop cycles
  • Best for wheat, paddy, sugarcane & orchards

Benefits & Crops – How Dhartiras helps Punjab farmers

Use this section as field-talking points for SOs, distributors and FPOs.

Soil-level advantages

1. Soil-level advantages (for all farmers)

  • Builds organic carbon fast: Made from 100% cow dung at PEDA, Ludhiana, so it restores depleted soils where OC is below 0.5–0.7%.
  • Better water-holding: Fermented organic matter improves porosity → less cracking in cotton / sugarcane belts.
  • Activates old fertilizers: Residual DAP / urea / potash present in the soil gets mobilized → farmer feels “output without extra fertilizer.”
  • Microbial-friendly: Anaerobically processed digestate is stable, so it supports good microbes and doesn’t burn roots.
  • Long-term effect: 2–3 crops with Dhartiras helps in reducing chemical load slowly.
Punjab focus

2. Crop-wise benefits

a) Paddy / Rice (incl. Basmati – Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, Ferozepur)

  • Dhartiras LFOM improves root and tiller growth → better panicle formation.
  • Helps paddy in standing water → improves oxygen exchange around roots.
  • Can reduce 1–2 rounds of urea when used in nursery + 25–30 DAT.
  • Basmati farmers like it because it is OM-based and supports residue management.

b) Wheat (Rabi)

  • Helps break post-paddy compaction.
  • Makes applied urea more usable → better earhead filling.
  • Straw-incorporated fields respond better → Dhartiras accelerates residue rotting.

c) Maize (kharif / spring)

  • LFOM increases root volume.
  • Improves moisture retention – good for rainfed pockets.

d) Cotton (South / Malwa belt)

  • Improves soil structure where hardpan is an issue.
  • Reduces stress symptoms from repeated irrigations.
  • Balances nutrition where N is overused.

e) Sugarcane (Doaba / Malwa pockets)

  • Better moisture + organic carbon → stronger canes.
  • Solid FOM in ratoon → revives tired fields.
  • Reduces lodging, improves weight.

f) Vegetables (Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana peri-urban)

  • Clean, fermented, uniform → safe on veg.
  • Can be applied through drip/ring → faster vegetative growth.
  • Improves colour, shelf life, size uniformity.

g) Fodder (berseem, maize, cowpea)

  • More cuts, greener fodder.
  • Dairy farmers prefer it – pure cow-dung origin.

h) Orchards / Horticulture (kinnow, citrus, guava, mango, peach, plum, pear – Abohar/Fazilka/Muktsar/Hoshiarpur)

  • Improves root zone & microbial life.
  • Solid FOM in basin + 1–2 LFOM rounds → better flowering & fruit setting.
  • Corrects low OC problem in clean-cultivated orchards.
  • Kinnow: better peel strength & greener canopy.

i) Polyhouse / nursery / floriculture

  • Use 2–4 ml/L – fermented & plant-safe.
  • Better transplant survival.
Farmer perception

3. How the farmer feels the difference

  • “Zyada mitti halka ho gayi” – soil becomes workable.
  • “Pichhle saal da khaad bhi kaam kar gaya” – old fertilizer gets activated.
  • “Paudha tez pakad raha hai” – faster establishment in veg/orchards.
  • “Orchard ka basin zinda ho gaya” – better microbial activity under fruit trees.
For trade / FPO

4. Why dealers / FPOs can pitch this

  • Punjab farmers already know Govt. is pushing GOBARdhan / CBG – Dhartiras is exactly from that stream.
  • Can be sold as “PEDA-Ludhiana grade organic manure” – premium, plant-made, not gaushala waste.
  • One product → many crops → easy for field staff to remember.
  • Backed by daily 200–250 MT cow-dung processing – good for govt./institutional buyers.
